The presentation provides solutions for the challenges teachers face during teaching English for specific purposes. The issues anticipated to be a challenge are often: a) differentiating between General English and ESP teachers’ roles, b) designing an appropriate curriculum related to learners’ jobs functions through effective objectives, resources and texts books, c) incorporating the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), grammar and vocabulary in activities related to learners’ needs to facilitate acquisition of language and simultaneously address learners’ job-related needs. During the presentation, easy to use examples of suggested solutions will be illustrated to ensure better implementation.
